42 kilometers long. Rotterdam territory. Our port. A place where goods from all over the world arrive. The largest in Europe, a logistics and industrial hub. The port is therefore the largest gateway to the European market. But also a place where criminals take advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s why we\u2019ve formed a united front: Seaport Police, Port of Rotterdam Authority, Deltalinqs, the Public Prosecution Service, RIEC, Customs, the Tax Administration, FIOD and the Municipality of Rotterdam. Together, we make the port resilient to corruption, violence and criminal infiltration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Port Alliance Rotterdam coordinates the joint approach, allocates budgets and monitors project execution. We report to the Ministry of Justice and Security, which finances our approach within the Mainport Programme to tackle subversive crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Rotterdam can remain proud of its port. What starts there also affects the city. By making companies, workers and young people more resilient, we strengthen not only the port, but Rotterdam as a whole. A port where you can work, do business and live safely. 42 kilometres long.
